Trans-sexual prison in Italy's

Empoli: A special jail has opened the transgender near Empoli, Tuscany, Italy. Special training for prison guards will be provided. Welcome was also given the alias women transsexual men, for providing for their detention. Therefore, their presence was rejected earlier, either by con men and women.

As diliris Telegraph, not long ago, about 30 transgender inmates will be moved to a prison facility outside Florence, where they currently are. Most of them were punished for committing acts of prostitution or offenses relating to narcotics. The Governor of Lazio, the region that includes Rome, had to resign at the end of last year after being trapped in the sex and drug scandal involving a transsexual prostitute from Brazil.

New facilities provided within the prison, including sports fields, libraries and allotment produce olive oil and wine. "It's a good idea. This is not going to be ghetto, but a way to avoid the experience of isolation in ordinary prisons," said Regina Satariano, head of the Italian Transgender Identity Movement.

New prisons will allow to serve the transgender time without trial because of their sexual identity. "It's a matter of dignity," said a former member of parliament, Vladimir Luxuria.
