DUBAI: In a bid to rejoin the powers, former President General (Ret), Pervez Musharraf has announced to return to Pakistan on March 23, 2012 in the head of next general elections in 2013.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, the former dictatorial president said that he could come back early if needed. He claimed that he wanted to improve the political system in the country. He rejected the information saying that no red-warrant had been issued to him.
Musharraf further said that he would face cases in the court, saying no red warrant has been issued against him. “I will work hard for the next elections of 2013,” he said.
He proclaimed that he would land in Lahore, the city where the resolution of Pakistan was passed back in 1940. He said that the political rivals leveled allegations against him, adding that they would enthusiastically participate in the next general elections.
He further added that soon he would restructure his party.
