Iran Ballistic Missiles U.S. criticism

Tehran, - Iran's Speaker of Parliament Ali Larijani, criticized the plan the United States (U.S.) strengthening defenses in the Gulf in order to face potential Iranian missile attack. He insisted that the Islamic Republic is not a threat to all neighbors.

"Major new U.S. puppet to protect and implement security in this area no more than a political one new trick to pave the way for his presence at the expense of others," Larijani said in comments broadcast by local media.

"U.S. officials did not realize that they are a problem in this area. More and more equipment that you bring them here, more concerned about actions for all countries where the equipment is held," he said.

"Does Iran have aggression against his neighbors or the region?" he questioned.

Larijani responded to reports that the U.S. government will put a special ship with the ability to shoot missiles off the coast of Iran, and antirudal systems in at least four Gulf states - Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and United Arab Emirates.

Meanwhile, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad accused the West trying to make a weak Gulf states, in a meeting with Qatari Crown Prince Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad ath-Thani.

"Westerners do not want this area secure or country in the region have friendly relations," said Larijani was quoted as saying by state media.

"They'd always try to make all the countries in this region is weak. Their lives depend on the creation of division and insecurity," he said.

Iranian officials have often launched training in the Gulf war and threatening to attack Western targets if the Iranian nuclear attack by the United States or Israel.

Iran are at loggerheads with the West about the controversial nuclear program, said many large countries "become a cover for making weapons". Iran has strongly denied the allegations.
