Obama to Indonesia 20-22 March 2010

President of the United States (U.S.) Barack Obama will visit Indonesia on 20-22 March 2010. Besides in Jakarta, Obama also plans to visit Yogyakarta.

"Obama in Indonesia, 20-22 March. In addition to Jakarta also to Yogyakarta, Borobudur. But it is still possible," said Minister of Justice and Human Rights Patrialis Akbar.

This was stated Patrialis after a limited cabinet meeting at the Presidential Office, Jl Veteran, Jakarta Pusat, Kamis (11/2/2010).

Meanwhile Menkopolhukam Djoko Suyanto said there may be existing tourist sites in Yogyakarta and Borobudur will be closed.

"For the head of state security, of course, is standard. I believe Mr. Obama would also not want to interfere community activities. But what about the property we're talking about the party joined the embassy," said Djoko.

According to fixed procedures, he added for VVIP security level as the head of state will be conducted by the TNI and police in the second ring.

"They'll be berkoordinasilah. Problem in what amounts and how I just do not know the placement. That concern Commander (TNI)," he said.

When asked what if there was a rally, Djoko said that is possible. But the protests did not disrupt the way the state guest.

For in Jakarta, Djoko added, Obama is scheduled to visit Kalibata TMP, then there is courtesy call (courtesy) to President SBY, followed by bilateral meetings, along with a dinner together.

"There will be nostalgia for Mr. Obama's session in Menteng. We also are setting up a presidential speech to the place we are looking for so that all can follow," he said.
